So today, after much angst, paperwork, annoyance, and general to-do, I added a Panda to our fleet of vehicles! We can now transport 10, although I'm not promising comfort for everyone!
The new acquisition is a 2014 Panda that runs on methane/gas (mostly methane), and we are planning to have Florence use it primarily for her pool trips come next fall. I will use it when taking longer trips or when we have guests and want to transport a few more people! I found it in town, so I have made a few more local friends (who happen to be the parents of a fellow choir member and her brother).
Pandas are widely used and known here. In this region, about 7 out of 10 cars are an incarnation of the Panda...new, old, somewhere in between. The older ones are the country warhorses. The newer ones are pretty spiffy in a miniature people-mover sort of way.
Here's the cutie:

Fairly basic dash, but still a lot to look at for me compared to the 500! |

Jeremy, for scale. Note that he's tall, but this vehicle is not large. |

Rear View. For some reason, there is only one white reversing light. |

Taken later with lower light. |

What do you think? Should we repaint and add little black ears and black eye circles?
Love,
Alexandra
