Our newest pet!

So today, after much angst, paperwork, annoyance, and general to-do, I added a Panda to our fleet of vehicles! We can now transport 10, although I'm not promising comfort for everyone!

The new acquisition is a 2014 Panda that runs on methane/gas (mostly methane), and we are planning to have Florence use it primarily for her pool trips come next fall. I will use it when taking longer trips or when we have guests and want to transport a few more people! I found it in town, so I have made a few more local friends (who happen to be the parents of a fellow choir member and her brother).

Pandas are widely used and known here. In this region, about 7 out of 10 cars are an incarnation of the Panda...new, old, somewhere in between. The older ones are the country warhorses. The newer ones are pretty spiffy in a miniature people-mover sort of way.

Here's the cutie:
Jaunty interior

Fairly basic dash, but still a lot to look at for me compared to the 500!

Jeremy, for scale. Note that he's tall, but this vehicle is not large.

Rear View. For some reason, there is only one white reversing light.

Taken later with lower light.

What do you think? Should we repaint and add little black ears and black eye circles?

Love,

Alexandra
