A few months ago, I wrote about finding a little old lady who insisted on taking me into her garden and wanted to give me something-or-other to go with the asparagus I was purchasing. Well, I finally made it back to visit her, and we had a lovely time. Her garden is so very interesting...compact (only a few hundred square feet), concrete-based (so large raised beds), and full of surprises.

Looking towards the front door |

Looking away from the front door...lilies, phlox, and more! |
Carnations running wild, next to... |
...cherry tomatoes, next to... |
? Frilly poppies? |
I'd never seen belladonna...so pretty! |
Lots of grapes |
And on a patio accessed from her interior, angels' trumpets! |
She says I have to come in the morning because there's more in bloom then. That's for next time!
Love,
Alexandra
