As we have mentioned before in one of our earlier posts, the main piazza is set up with Christmas decorations for the filming of a movie. Now all the decorations are up and they've started the action. Yesterday, they had Santa Claus and a bunch of presents under the huge tree in the middle of the piazza. The people who signed up to be extras in the movie all took a present and crowded around to take some pictures.

Isn't that tree just beautiful?

Yesterday, Jeremy also went out and took some pics and told us to come quickly to see the filming. There was a crowd when we got there and not much else except a lot of cameras and a few stars. One of my friends in my class was there with the others who are going to be in the film and she didn't come to school today because she stayed up late being filmed as an extra along with another boy in my class and many other people around town. I was sad that I couldn't be one of the extras!
Anyway, they started setting up people in their places and this happened to be a boring part of the movie. Couples were put together and were told to walk in their specific lines across the piazza. Then after they did that several times and seemed to be trying to film it again, we went home to dinner.
This evening Florence and I went out to see the sunset and it is absolutely gorgeous! Here are some shots of the piazza and the sunset:
