Cities Identified

We have been scratching our heads over the website that is linked to the QR code on the puzzle. Since the links won't last forever, I post the screenshot!

We had hypothesized at some point that it might have to do with airport codes. But Jeremy rapidly researched the situation and announced that there was no airport in Sitka, Alaska, so it was a dead end. Still scratching our heads, begging for a clue...and this morning, the font color for Sitka had changed to green! Hurray! But what does that mean, exactly?

Some anxious questioning, Michael pointed out ("duh, you boneheads") that it was a hyperlink! And this is what we found (admire the tab heading?):

Hmm. So definitely airport codes. When decoded, the script (using the airport codes) is "site under construction please visit us at Christmas." GAH!

Below is the current state of the Christmas tree. The lights are in pretty colors, and may signify additional codes, but that's unclear.

Merrily yours,

Alexandra
