Gingerbread basilica

I haven't made a gingerbread house in years, but I really wanted to make one this year. Luckily, we actually had the time, as well!

Jeremy did an AMAZING job on the templates for me (using some of the original plans from the 1300s which he remembered from having seen them at the duomo), everyone tasted, James and Eleanor made the royal icing, and Florence helped with the assembly (she also figured out how to do the curved 3-D roof section on the back)! And here it is!
