14th Birthday!

I seriously thought my birthday was going to be the worst birthday I had ever had. I woke up to Mummy shaking me saying, " Get started cleaning and tell the boys to help you." I wasn't too pleased to hear that command.

Later I took a nap because I was so extremely bored. After two hours, we were all sent out to get exercise because we had been inside all day. Eleanor and I decided to go to the park and I'm not sure where everyone else went, but I was not aware that they were setting up for a surprise.

Oh! That was an amazing cake! 

After a while Eleanor made an excuse to go back to the house and I finally agreed even though I thought it would be more interesting sitting in the                     park by ourselves than going back.

We walked up the steps and opened the door. I was shocked to see that my friends Alessia and Klara were standing there hugging me. They handed me a card and everyone sang Happy Birthday in Italian.
Inside the card, Alessia and Klara had gotten together and written a nice note in English and there was a pocket with a mood ring in it with hearts, stars and the letter N on it.

Just tuning. 

Mummy and Daddy started handing out the Fanta and I cut the delicious cake from the gelato shop down the street. Then I opened the present from Mummy and Daddy even though I wasn't expecting a present from them at all. It turned out that they had brought the present all the way from the U.S. And it was a blue ukulele!!!

I used Eleanor's keyboard to tune it and I so far I can only play a few chords. Eleanor played a song for our friends and I played a little on the guitar.

 We went out and spent a little time in the park. Overall, it turned out to be a pretty good birthday!
