This morning Daddy and I went out running and I'll say it was probably the hardest run I've ever done. We only ran about 2 or 3 kilometers, but going up the hills was difficult. We made our way up to the park onto the zigzag path and made it up most of the way, but had to stop near the top because we were so tired.
This afternoon we met Giuseppe to eat gelato again and, of course, it was good. We had a nice walk back and now we are starting to make dinner and then we will retire for the day, after probably talking a night walk around town.
Love and miss you all!
Ashley
We miss you too. I'm glad you are helping keep daddy in shape. The pathways and hills there have to be so much more interesting than the treadmill and workout room at his old gym...and he has you for company.

Having seen the hills in Todi, I must say I am very impressed at the 2 or 3 km bit!,,. Maybe we can do some walking together when we visit you in Todi, but not running! We miss you all and really enjoy reading about your life in Italy. Can't wait to be there! Love and kisses from Vovo and Grandfather
ReplyDeleteWell, there's always plenty of walking to be done! It's a good thing we like being outside; and the nice thing is that I saw my first mosquito just the other day -- there just aren't that many of them!
ReplyDeleteWith all the gelato, it's good to throw in a run here and there!! Gelato is SO yummy!
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, since true gelato is primarily fruit and/or skim milk, it's not as sinful as it tastes! A small serving is only about 60 calories, and they really do have appropriate serving sizes (listen up, Bruster's!). Our biggest problem is that the limone is usually sold out this time of year because it's so popular!
