You all know by now that Todi is on top of a hill. Our apartment is very close to the very top. The two big grocery stores--each the size of a CVS--are near the bottom. I found a topographic map and determined that the 1 km walk back has a 100 m rise.
For those of you in Atlanta, that is roughly the equivalent of walking halfway up Stone Mountain every time you go to the grocery store. Now you know why those old-lady shopping carts were so important to Alexandra!
Glutes and thighs of steel by the time you get back!
