Eleanor, James, and I went out at four to see our friends again. We went ahead and bought more gelato and ventured up to the park. There we amused ourselves by taking tons of pictures and passing around dollar bills that were very much favored by our friends. James took my sunglasses out of my bag and passed them around for everyone to pose. Italians also say "cheese" when they get ready to take a picture! :D
Later we moved over to the pizzeria and sat down at the table were we started singing "If You're Happy and You Know It", first in Italian then in English. We recorded it and said our goodbyes. Unfortunately, we won't be able to see them tomorrow because we're going to go eat gelato with Giuseppe, but gelato's good too.

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. You may have commented on the boys, but the girls too ... wow. I love the fact that you can enjoy company of friends in the streets, the parks, the cafes. Everybody looks so comfortable and relaxed - and it wasn't even a scheduled "play date."
