The first Amazon delivery!

When we rent a furnished house/apartment for a vacation, we typically find that they are missing items that we consider to be rather important.  Now, for a stay of a week, we usually tough it out.  But for a year?  Nope.  So of course there's a bit of investment in the place.  That's where Amazon.it comes in.  Mind you, many items (laundry basket, decent broom, etc.) are available locally.  But some (plastic hangers, believe it or not; heck, ANY hangers!) cannot be found for love or money.


I have a kettle & teapot on the way (not in a hurry for those, since it's going to be around 96 today), but today, my old-lady shopping carts arrived!  We're so excited!  No more backpacks dragging us down. Just these darling carts that make us feel like we should be wearing ugly orthopedic shoes and polyester A-line skirts!  However, these stylish items actually boast a cooler section, allowing us a bit more time to get back up the hill before worrying about spoiled food!
