The Pool

Today we took an hour-long trek down to the pool. It was very hot and the only one who thought about bringing water was James. So we had ONE bottle of water among the seven of us. It was a lot of work.
When we got there, we went in and got in the pool. The life guard saw us and asked us if we had swim caps. We didn't so we had to buy some. Then we got back in; when the water slides opened Jeremy, James and Ashley went down. Ashley met six people, whom we are going to meet tomorrow. We still have jet-lag (or I do anyway).Arrivederci,        Fiorella (Florence)

  1. Using the pool shows that you are getting settled back into town. Is the pool an open community pool, a pay as you use, or membership? It sounds like a great way to shedvsome of the jet lag playing out in the sun.

  2. Well, we can pay for the rest of the season or pay as you go. It's quite expensive, so the kids are going to talk to their friends today to determine which we should choose...

  3. Hi All,
Suffice it to say that we missed ALL of the Hooks at AYS camp this past week! But it sounds like the beginning of your year-long adventure is going well! All the best to you ALL.
